The College of the Ozarks is a religious, non-profit, educational institution. The Vision of College of the Ozarks is to develop citizens of Christ-like character who are well-educated, hard-working and patriotic. The College focuses on developing young men and women in accordance with biblical teaching, including traditional notions of family, marriage, and sexuality. In keeping with the College’s Vision, Mission, and Goals, all events and the conduct of patrons must reflect the expectations of the College as expressed in this paragraph, in the College Catalog, and in the faculty, staff, and student handbooks. The College reserves the right to prohibit events and not extend services to persons or groups that are inconsistent with the College’s beliefs and expectations. Prepare your young lady or gentleman for the future by providing them the opportunity to learn proper etiquette.

Polish Your Child's Etiquette Skills with Our Etiquette Classes

Give your young ones aged 8 to 10 and preteens aged 11 to 13 a head start in life by enrolling them in our etiquette classes. Tailored for each age group, our curriculum focuses on instilling essential social graces and manners that will serve them well into the future.

What Your Child Will Learn:

  • Proper Posture: The foundation of confidence and self-assurance.
  • Courtesy and Respect: Essential principles for navigating social interactions with grace.
  • Proper Handshake: Master the art of a firm, respectful handshake.
  • Greetings and Introductions: Learn the importance of making a positive first impression.
  • Writing a Thank You Note: Cultivate gratitude and appreciation through the written word.
  • Grooming and Dress: Understand the significance of presenting oneself well.
  • Dining Table Setting and Manners: Navigate dining situations with poise and confidence.

Registration: Secure your child's spot in our upcoming classes. Please note that a permission form is required for enrollment.

Price:

  • $45 per child: Includes participation in the etiquette class and a three-course meal, providing practical opportunities to practice newly acquired skills.

Time:

Classes will begin at 10:00 am and end at 1:00 pm. Parents/guardians will meet our staff by the College Creamery by 10:00 am for signing in their child(ren). Pickup will occur in the same location and an ID is required for pickup.
