Notice of Operational Change at The Keeter Center

After prayerful and thoughtful consideration, College of the Ozarks has decided to reduce Sunday operations to honor the Sabbath and provide students and staff time for worship and rest. Beginning August 4, 2025, the restaurant, bakery, creamery, and gift shop will be closed to the public every Sunday thereafter.

This change will allow us to enhance and further focus on providing exceptional dining and hospitality experiences Monday through Saturday. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and commitment to our mission of helping students graduate debt free.

For years, The Keeter Center’s Sunday Brunch has been a place for families, friends, and visitors to gather and enjoy farm-to-table cuisine. As we close this chapter, we express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of this tradition.

While brunch is ending, our dedication to exceptional dining experiences continues through our award-winning restaurant, special events, and student-made offerings.

Our leadership team carefully explored the idea of offering a Saturday Brunch. While it initially seemed like a natural alternative, we ultimately determined that the preparation required for brunch service would place undue strain on our students during the academic week, and it would eliminate our very popular Saturday evening dinner service.
 

Yes, The Keeter Center will be closed to the public on Sundays but will be accessible for overnight lodging guests.

Closure includes the College Creamery, Gift Shop, Bakery, and Dobyns Dining Room. 

Yes, we are delighted to offer our regular services Monday - Saturday.

At College of the Ozarks, we are committed to faith and family values. This decision aligns with our mission and operational goals. The Sunday Brunch operation requires extensive preparation time and labor. This decision allows for our students and staff to focus on time for worship and family. While brunch is ending, we will continue to offer high-quality dining experiences at The Keeter Center.

2025 Holiday Events

We are offering a Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday, May,11, and Father's Day Brunch on Sunday, June 15. For reservations and information, please visit our Signature Events. 

Thanksgiving Brunch reservations will open for booking on August 1 at 6:00 am by phone only. 

We are currently in the process of reimagining our Christmas offerings. Please continue to visit our website for updates regarding our signature events. 

2026 Holiday Events

We will continue to hold our long-standing holiday events in 2026, although they will take place on days other than Sunday. Please continue to visit our website for updates and signature event announcements. 

No, the College Creamery, Gift Shop, Bakery, and Dobyns Dining Room will be closed every Sunday. 

If you have a reservation for Sunday Brunch scheduled on or before August 3, 2025, we will gladly honor it. For reservations scheduled after that date, a member of our team will reach out to discuss alternative dining options. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate this transition.
